Spa Etiquette
Appointments
To make an appointment, please call our spa during business hours at 904-807-8087. A major credit card is required to hold your reservation. To ensure availability, we suggest you reserve appointments in advance. We make every effort to accommodate last minute appointments when possible.
Cancellations
Due to the individualized nature of services we offer, our specialists prepare treatment rooms and services in advance for each patient. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge for appointments not canceled within this period. If you find that you are running more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, we ask that you call and reschedule so that we may be on time for other scheduled clients.
Check-in
We encourage patients to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled reservation to allow time to check in, change clothes and relax before your appointment. To ensure a relaxed environment for all our guests, we ask that you turn off cellular phones upon arrival. For first time guests, please arrive at least 20 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment to complete the required paperwork.
Treatments & Pre-Service Questionnaires
A pre-service questionnaire is required with each new patient and new service. Please advise your service provider if you are pregnant, have injuries or recent surgeries. If you are using Retin-A, Accutane or other medications, please inform your specialist so appropriate products and treatments are selected for your service. Due to active ingredients used in some treatments, patients are advised when redness and peeling may occur after treatment.
Children
To preserve the relaxing atmosphere of the location, we require guests to be at least 12 years of age. We offer specialized teen skin care education workshops for groups of three or more. Please call 904-807-8087 for more information.
Payment
We accept all VISA, Master Card, and debit cards, personal checks, cash and Atlantic Coast Surgical & SkinSpa Gift Certificates.
Insurance
Most cosmetic procedures, including laser surgery, are not considered to be medically necessary by insurance carriers and charges will be payable at the time of each treatment visit. Procedures that are approved by your insurance carrier may receive some coverage under your insurance benefits. In these cases, you can file an insurance claim yourself and Atlantic Coast Surgical & SkinSpa will provide you with necessary receipts and forms to include with your claim submission.
Gratuities
We are dedicated to proving a unique experience for our guests. Gratuities are not included in our prices and are greatly appreciated by our specialists performing your services
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift Certificates are available in any amount and can be purchased by phone or at the spa. Gift certificates can be redeemed towards any service and or merchandise. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced certificates. Cash value of purchased gift certificates for treatments or packages are subject to change after one year of issue.
Refunds, Credit or Exchange Policy
Except for replacing damaged products, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits on spa services, gift certificates, package series or retail products. All sales are final.
Spa Etiquette
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early to relax and prepare for your treatment.
In consideration of all guests, we ask that you either turn off pagers and cell phones or use the vibrate setting when you are visiting the facility.
