Sclerotherapy vein treatment

The Gold standard for spider vein treatment, sclerotherapy is a medical procedure used to treat varicose veins and "spider veins." Sclerotherapy involves an injection of a solution (generally sodium chloride) directly into the vein. The solution irritates the lining of the vessel, causing it to swell and stick together, and the blood to clot. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that fades from view. Sclerotherapy is a well-proven procedure and has been in use since the 1930s.

Photorejuvenation vein treatment

Photorejuvenation laser therapy, using the Palomar Star Lux 500, is a non-invasive, non-surgical medical system using light therapy to eliminate vascular birthmarks, facial spider veins and other vascular conditions. During treatment the intense pulsed light wavelength is optimized so that the intense light penetrates skin to reach the blood vessel. The blood vessel begins to dissipate immediately after treatment. It is a painless and efficient way to reduce unwanted or excess hair through a series of treatments over 4-8 week period.
